Virtue has earned their stellar reputation during years of consistently producing high quality paintball equipment. Virtue’s masks in particular are regarded as some of the most versatile on the market and strike a nice balance between safety, comfort, minimalist design, and modifiability. The masks are also very reasonably priced for the quality that Virtue delivers. Because of all these features, Virtue holds a place of high regard in the paintball market.

The Virtue brand is trusted in the paintball community for safety, and the Virtue VIO Ascend is a reasonably priced mask that offers high-end features. Made of durable, injection-molded plastic, the mask offers improved protection while remaining flexible and comfortable. Despite the lower price tag, the Ascend has features commonly found in high-end masks, such as quick-change lenses, fog-resistant film, scratch-resistant lenses, and a wide field of view. The low-profile design reduces the risk of paintballs breaking on glancing blows.

The VIO Contour II is the next generation after the VIO Ascend. Many of the features that players know and love from the VIO Ascend still form part of the Contour II with a few upgrades. The same lenses and bands that the VIO uses are interchangeable which gives the player a similar field of view. One extra piece that Contour II has is an extra pad in the back to make the strap more comfortable. The protection around the mouth and ears on the Contour is also more flexible to prevent paintballs breakage.

The VIO XS II is Virtue’s mid-range goggles and provides some of the best features of the Contour II and the Ascend. The mouth and neck areas have the same flexibility offered by the Contour II but the mask is slightly larger to accommodate players with larger faces. Otherwise, all of the same features that players know and love from the Ascend and Contour II–easy lens changes, interchangeable bands, and more–are all available.
