Paintball Frame Kits
Paintball Frame Kits
Paintball frame kits are the go-to option to turn your eclectic marker into a mechanical marker. While a throwback to the older days of paintball, there is still a loyal following of players who still love to use mechanical paintball markers. Circuit boards and batteries do help your gun shoot better. But there’s something raw about the pneumatics of the paintball marker shooting, cycling, and loading paintballs again.
Paintball frame kits are, obviously, brand specific–the Planet Eclipse CS2 Frame Kit can’t be used on a Dye marker just like the Dye DSR+ Mechanical Frame couldn’t be used on a Planet Eclipse marker.

Frequently asked questions by paintballers…
What’s the difference between a mechanical and an electric paintball gun?
There are a few differences between mechanical and electric paintball guns. First, the mechanism used to cycle electric paintball guns uses batteries to cycle through paintballs. The electronics are coordinated with the trigger to allow for fully automatic firing modes as well as burst firing. This leads to a greater balls-per-second capacity from electric markers.
Mechanical paintball markers, on the other hand, only use the pneumatic pressure from each shot to cycle the paint in your marker. Given the analog nature of mechanical paintball markers, the cycle rate can only go as fast as your finger, and therefore the shots are slower.

How can I make my paintball gun more air-efficient?
There are a few ways that you can make your paintball gun more efficient. The first way is by using a low-pressure bolt and low-pressure regulator. Additionally, switching to HPA instead of CO2 can also help make your paintball gun more efficient. This is not an option for all paintball guns, so you may be limited on how much you can do to improve your current paintball gun without having to upgrade.
Another thing to consider is the type of hopper or loader that you’re using. Some hoppers use batteries to load balls while other hoppers make use of additional air or CO2 exiting your marker. Switching your hopper to an electric hopper may help increase your marker’s air efficiency.
