The Empire GS Mini Marker is one of the best intermediate guns available on the market. Empire did an amazing job of taking the old Mini platform and revamping it to be one of the most widely-used and appreciated markers in all of paintball. Normally, people who purchase the Empire GS Mini are upgrading from a beginner paintball gun like Tippmann and Spyder. While these other markers have their place at a higher level of play it just makes sense to have a more advanced platform on the field. These markers are excellent because of their reliability, accuracy, and versatility in different paintball scenarios. They can be used for both woodsball and speedball because of their firing variability (more on that below). These markers also have a great selection of upgrades and are considered by many to be a great all-around workhorse for any field of play.

The GS Mini is also one of the most modifiable paintball markers. The trigger is adjustable, which can change the way that the gun shoots and feels. The marker also has Autococker threads, so it accepts a wide array of different barrels, which can help when switching between woodsball and speedball.

This gun was built as an enthusiast's gun. It is leaps and bounds better than an entry-level marker and has some of the features that you would expect from a professional paintball gun. However, the price puts it at an intermediate level. Even though this is an intermediate-level gun, it still punches well above its weight. This is also a great gun for both woodsball and speedball.
