Paintball Goggle Cleaner

Paintball goggle cleaner is one of those little details that you don’t think about until your goggles start fogging up and you can’t see clearly or hit the broad side of a barn. Options like paintball goggle fans are available, but they’re generally not universal and, if you’re into speedball, they do add a little extra weight.

Most paintball goggles come with thermal lenses which help to substantially reduce the amount of fog on your lens. However, during hot, muggy days, even the best thermal lens can leave your vision obstructed. That’s why we recommend that all players have a high quality goggle cleaner on hand with a microfiber towel to keep the fog away (See what our other favorite must-haves are in the video below):

Microfiber Towels

Microfiber towels are the only option when it comes to cleaning your paintball goggles. The microfiber is absorbent and can wipe away the additional fog while avoiding scratching your goggles. Using paper towels (made from wood pulp) can actually cause scratching and regular dish towels or hand towels can leave fibers and other debris that can also obstruct your vision. Microfiber towels, on the other hand, leave no residue and will not scratch your lenses.

Lens Cleaner and Anti-Fog Spray

When you're on the field and don't have access to a sink, cleaning your paintball lenses and de-fogging them is as easy as spraying on some Z-Clear Lens Cleaner. This cleaner does an excellent job of not only keeping your lenses clean, but also defogging them with a proprietary solution. This spray will keep your lenses fog-free for three days and players can generally get 200 sprays out of a single ounce of liquid.
